METHOD OF WOUND DEFECT CLOSURE AFTER SURGICAL TREATMENT OF UPPER EXTREMITY SOFT TISSUES PHLEGMON Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2709726 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and can be used in surgery and, in particular, in purulent surgery. Cutaneous-subdermic-fascial-muscularis graft is cut out based on a brachioradial muscle, including a distal end of a muscle with a cutaneous-subdermic-fascial plate located above it in a form identical to a wound defect of an upper extremity region, proximal end of muscle is isolated with intact neurovascular pedicle left, muscle is separated from attachment point to lateral edge of humerus. Further, the graft is unfolded in the frontal plane in the area of the neurovascular pedicle at angle of 30–40 with the posterior surface of the forearm defect; at angle of 45–60 with plasty of forearm foreface surface defect; at angle of 80–90 with an anterior surface defect of the shoulder region; at angle of 100–110 with plasty of defect of posterior surface of shoulder area. A distal end through a subcutaneous tunnel is brought to a tissue defect in the area of the upper extremity; a layer-by-layer fixation is performed.

EFFECT: method enables reliable closure of all components of the soft tissue defect, any upper extremity, formed after phlegmon treatment and revascularization of the plastic area.
