SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method of germinating fescue seeds is characterized by the fact that it includes pretreating fescue seeds with 0.005% aqueous sol of hydrothermal nanosilica for 120 minutes, followed by sowing, germinating at room temperature and moistening the seeds for 10 days under continuous illumination with blue light LEDs with a wavelength of 440 nm, with intensity of 6.52 mcM/m2·s, or green light LEDs with a wavelength of 525 nm with intensity of 1.44 mcM/m2·s, or red light LEDs with a wavelength of 660 nm, with intensity of 2.36 mcM/m2·s at the level of the seedbed.
EFFECT: invention improves the germination of seeds of cereal meadow grasses and the productivity of sprouts at 10-day germination.
