SUBSTANCE: operating method of recharging of automatic pneumatic weapon with self-timer integrates principle of operation of spring-piston airguns (SPA) and pneumatic weapons with preliminary pumping (PWPP). Breechblock assist of spring-and-piston airguns under action of energy of elastic element extracts bullet from magazine, sends it to barrel bore and enters barrel bore. Note here that hammer stands on self-timer hammer. Breechblock displaces air from the cylinder of the breechblock into the barrel bore with provision of smooth movement of the breechblock towards the barrel. Pneumatic weapon hammer with preliminary pumping under action of energy of elastic element when moving towards barrel engages with breechblock. Breechblock, under the action of energy of the elastic element and kinetic energy of the striker, gives the bullet an initial acceleration.

EFFECT: reduced probability of bullet deformation during removal from magazine and bringing it into barrel bore, increased muzzle energy of weapon.
