SUBSTANCE: invention relates to airguns. Method of automatic air gun recharging mechanism operation unites operation principle of spring-piston pneumatics (PTR) and pre-charged pneumatics (PCP). Bullets expeller sends the bullet out of the magazine under the action of the spring, sends it to the barrel bore and enters the barrel bore. Gate displaces air from the breechblock cylinder into the barrel bore and moves the bullet into the table. With further movement of the bolt towards the barrel, the gas valve is opened. Energy of compressed gas supplied from high pressure reservoir into barrel bore increases bullet speed. Pressure in the cylinder of the bolt is increased. Lock moves backwards by compressing the spring. At that, the bolt rammer comes out of the magazine and takes an extreme farthest position from the barrel. Next bullet is placed on the barrel channel line.

EFFECT: increased rate of fire of pneumatic weapons, increased accuracy of shot, increased accuracy of firing, increased muzzle energy, improved mass-dimensional characteristics of weapon, increased comfort of firing.
