SUBSTANCE: cartridge-free automatic weapon with balanced automatics comprises: barrel, magazine, oxidiser tank, fuel tank, housing, expansion chamber, expansion chamber of hydraulic system, gas distribution mechanism, firing mode selection mechanism combined with trigger mechanism, hydraulic system, reloading mechanism using balanced automation mechanism and damping mechanism, fuel supply mechanism, oxidizer supply mechanism, locking mechanism of gate, mechanism for ejection of combustion products from barrel bore and barrel channel cooling, mechanism for delay during single fire, mechanism for selection of speed of piston and breech mechanism, shot prevention mechanism. Non-ammunition automatic weapon operation method is based on the use of fuel and oxidant reaction energy, on the use of the return springs energy acting on the gate and the piston. At the same time, piston and breech stroke kinematically connected by hydraulic system in opposite directions. Movement speed of the piston and breech mechanism for withdrawal from the magazine and forcing the projectile into the bore of the barrel and movement of the piston and breech mechanism into the initial position at maximum speed is controlled regardless of the selected firing rate. Obturation of barrel bore is performed by shell, in breech part of barrel - by rapporteur. Gate imparts to the shell the initial speed in the barrel bore. At the same time, fuel and oxidizer are supplied with initiation of detonation and combustion reaction, gate locking with subsequent shot, ejection of combustion products from barrel bore and barrel channel cooling.

EFFECT: faster movement of the projectile near the barrel muzzle, damping the operation of balanced automation, eliminating the impact of assemblies and parts on the construction of the device, reducing recharging time, reducing the weight of movable assemblies and parts, possibility of selection of extraction speed from magazine and powdering of projectile into barrel bore, exclusion of barrel overheating, shooting with use of fuel in gaseous and/or liquid state, and oxidizer in gaseous state, possibility of idle shot without use of projectile, maximum protection of assemblies and parts from ingress of dust and dirt, simplicity and manufacturability of weapon.
