SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biological decontamination and sterilization of medical equipment and devices, production and preservation of food products and preparation of consumer goods. Disclosed is a method for reducing mycotoxins on fruits or seeds, involving: obtaining chemically active gas by forming high-voltage cold plasma (HVCP) from working gas, transportation of chemically active gas by at least 3 meters from HVCP with further contact of fruits or seeds with chemically active gas. Chemically active gas is a gas obtained by HVCP containing excited and chemically active particles, but not particles which are dissipated after 0.2 seconds or less. Also disclosed is a method of treating a product or surface using chemically active gas and a system for treating a product or surface using chemically active gas.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency and reliability of processing is achieved.
