METHOD OF REDUCING ERRORS IN PREDICTION OF MOVEMENT OF THE CENTER OF MASS OF A NAVIGATION SPACECRAFT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B64G1/10

Abstract RU 2724216 C2

FIELD: space equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to reduce errors in prediction of movement of the center of mass of a navigation spacecraft. Method of predicting the movement of the center of gravity of the navigation spacecraft includes predicting the departure of the center of mass of the navigation spacecraft from the nominal position under action of external disturbing forces. At angle modulus between plane of orbit and direction to Sun less than specified value, in ground ballistic complex on each turn angle between plane of orbit and direction to Sun at the moment of beginning of anticipatory turn around axis OX is calculated. Parameters of anticipatory turn about axis OX are determined by calculated angle using table dependences. Time of beginning and ending of anticipatory turn around axis OX is calculated. Simulation of anticipatory turn around axis OX is carried out with subsequent calculation of forces from solar pressure affecting motion of center of mass of spacecraft.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
