FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of non-detachable folded joints. Folded joint of shaped and flat parts is made in form of fold with triple bend, the first bend of which is made with the end part in the form of bending tabs and is located on one side of the surface of the flat part, and the second and the third bends are located on the other side of the surface of the flat part. At that, the second bend adjoins one surface to the other surface of the flat part, and the third bend adjoins another surface of the second bend. On one side of the end face, the shaped part is fixed to the hole of the flat part by bending tabs, and on the other side – by two bends tightly pressed to each other.
EFFECT: higher quality of folded connection due to its rigidity and spring-loaded.
