FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rod of a composite differential piston of a piston compressor is a bar with one end being fitted by a connection part 1 and the other end being fitted by a part 2 with external thread. A collar 3 is made between the parts. Mounting surface 10 for the first ball washer and mounting surface 11 for the second ball washer are provided between the collar 3 and the part 2. Surface 12, enclosed with a gap, is provided between the said mounting surfaces. Mounting surface 15 for a compensating ring is provided between the mounting surface 10 for the first ball washer and the collar 3. The flat surface of the collar 3 on the side of the mounting surface 15 for the compensating ring is lapped and perpendicular to the rod axis.
EFFECT: lower material consumption at the repair of the rod with parts being set on it.
