FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used to form a submicrocrystalline structure in a billet metal. Die for pressing of billet consists of shroud, punch and matrix with at least three intersecting receiving, intermediate and outlet channels. Intermediate channel is screwed and formed by a package of k inserts. Each insert is made in the form of a disk with an axial hole, the contour of which is turned through the thickness of the insert through an angle α. Inserts are located in matrix sockets with their fixation in required relative to each other position by means of two flats made on external side surface of each insert from opposite sides.
EFFECT: enabling repair of die by replacement of worn-out inserts.
