FIELD: printing systems for toner applications.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions includes versions of toner compositions and a method of producing toner. Toner composition contains: a toner particle having a surface, said toner particle comprising at least one toner resin, a metallic pigment, bonded to the surface of the toner particle and an insulating surface additive applied over the metallic pigment, wherein the insulating surface additive is an organosilicon oil.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing improved metallic effect of toner and higher reliability of method of producing silver metal toner.
