SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatric orthopaedics, and can be used in conservative treatment of axial deformations in children under 5 years old caused by rachitis and connective tissue dysplasia syndrome. In valgus deformation, a rigid brace between the knee joints and a soft pad are inserted between the ankle joints jointed together. In varus deformation, a rigid brace between the ankle joints and a soft pad between the knee joints jointed together are installed. Rigid spacer is made with possibility of changing its size depending on reduction of axial deformation value.
EFFECT: method allows normalizing the growth of lower extremities in children with axial valgus and varus deformations by eliminating the asymmetry of the axial load on the epimetaphyseal zone of the sprout of the articular cartilage.
