FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present friction brake 6 is configured to reduce wheel rotation by reducing rotation of rotary disc 36 rotating with output shaft 14 of electric motor 10. Braking torque applied to output shaft 14 of electric motor 10 by means of friction brake 6 increases by means of reduction gear 12 and is applied to wheel. This requires a small pressing force to reduce the wheel rotation compared to the case of a friction brake configured to reduce the rotation of the output shaft of the reduction gear.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of friction brake 6 size.
