SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Disclosed is a method of searching for similar fingerprints of devices from a plurality of all known fingerprints of devices on a current fingerprint of a device, through which a user interacts with remote services, comprising steps of: a) calculating, using a user fingerprint collection means, the digital fingerprint comprising at least one feature of said device collected at a time when user interaction with remote services is performed by said device; b) determining, by means of analysis means, a group of imprints in which said fingerprint consists, wherein the groups are broken down by the analysis means by features so that the measure of similarity between any pair of prints from different groups is equal to zero, wherein a measure of similarity is a probability of belonging to a pair of digital fingerprints to a chain of digital fingerprints of one device, wherein under the chain of fingerprints of the device is a time-ordered sequence of fingerprint values corresponding to that device; c) calculating, using an analysis means, the probability of belonging to said fingerprint and each print of the group to one chain, for this purpose, changing the characteristics of said fingerprint and selecting the probability of simultaneous change of changed signs of said fingerprint and each print of the group; d) detecting, using the analysis means, prints of a group whose probability of belonging to one chain with said print exceeds a threshold value.

EFFECT: search of similar device prints from a plurality of all known device fingerprints on the current fingerprint of the device through which the user interacts with remote services.
