METHOD OF TRANSMITTING INFORMATION USING A SUBSTITUTING LOGICAL TERNARY NOISE-RESISTANT CODE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G08C19/28

Abstract RU 2724794 C1

FIELD: information transmission system.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for transmitting information and can be used to increase noise immunity of received messages and digital signals in interference conditions. Symbols Si (i = 0, 1, 2) of ternary code are duplicated by corresponding symbols Ti (i = 0, 1, 2), which are represented by pulse-width modulation (PWM3) with corresponding values of pulse duration: T0, T1 = 1.5T0 and T2 = 2T0, where T0 is duration of initial symbols of binary code "1" and "0". Essence of the invention is also that generated PWM3 pulses T0, T1 = 1.5T0 and T2 = 2T0 is filled in the next step of encoding the binary Barker code symbols, respectively, and with a duration of each of them (τp), 4 times smaller than T0. To expand the signal spectrum, each of the Barker codes is used, complemented at the end of the code structure with a binary symbol "1", filling the initially formed pauses in a single spreading code sequence. As a result, broadband communication is realized. Also, it seems necessary when using algorithms of fast Fourier transform (FFT) in data transmission systems, which is oriented only for certain duration of bits.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simultaneous meeting of two requirements: reduced redundancy of transmitted symbols of digital code and high noise-immunity of reception thereof based on a transition before modulating the signal with a pulse sequence, having not two code symbols "1" and "0", and three symbols Si (i = 0, 1, 2) of the ternary code, which are in form of amplitude-pulse modulation (APM3) with corresponding values of pulse amplitude: A0, A1 and A2.
