FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication. For this purpose, disclosed is a method of transmitting information, in which on the transmitting side the original stream of symbols is replaced with a compressed logical ternary code with duplicating symbols Ti(Si) with conversion during primary modulation of ternary code symbols into pulse-width modulation, and their duplicating symbols S0, S1 and S2 into amplitude-pulse modulation, while occurring in the formed sequence Ti(Si) symbols T0(S0) and following symbols T1(S1), as well as symbols T0(S0) and following symbols T2(S2) are combined and replaced with newly introduced symbols T3(S3) and T4(S4), as a result of which five-position codes are formed, represented by symbols: T0(S0)↔<11,00>2; T1(S1)↔<10,001>2, T2(S2)↔<101>2, T3(S3)↔<110,0001>2, T4(S4)↔<1101>2, and at the receiving side, the received codes represented by duplicate symbols Ti(Si) are demodulated, and the reliability of the restored sequence is monitored.
EFFECT: high noise immunity and error detection.
