FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to microbiological diagnostics, and can be used for preparation and inoculation of atherosclerotic plaque for microbiological examination. Biopsy material is sampled, transported in a test tube with a thioglycolic medium to the laboratory, seeding by the exhausting stroke, culturing under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. In the laboratory, aseptic conditions are used to isolate an atherosclerotic plaque from the wall thickness of the vessel, its mechanical grinding and homogenisation with a sterile scalpel. Material is placed into a sterile test tube with physiological saline and centrifuged in mode 3,000 rpm for 5 minutes with subsequent inoculation of the supernatant liquid by 200 mcl on two cups with 5 % blood agar and two cups with a universal chromogenic medium by the exhausting stroke method. One pair of cups with dissimilar media is cultured in aerobic, and another pair of cups with dissimilar media under anaerobic conditions for 7 days at 37 °C.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of extracting the microorganisms with a different type of respiration by the proposed method due to the possibility of isolating the microflora found in the internal plaque structures as a result of its homogenisation, separation of insoluble plaque elements from microflora during centrifugation, extraction of various groups of microorganisms due to presence of universal chromogenic agar.
