ARMOURED TUBULAR CHARGE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC F42B3/08 C06B21/00

Abstract RU 2724872 C2

FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket equipment and can be used in the design, development and manufacturing of solid-propellant charges for artillery systems and large-calibre firearms, rocket engines, gas generators, turbine-generator power sources, powder pressure accumulators and other mechanisms of life support of military, rocket and other equipment. Armoured tubular charge includes a solid-propellant cartridge with an inner through channel and a layer of armouring of composite material over a certain surface of the block. Layer of reservation is located on external cylindrical and end surfaces of tubular charge and is made of composite material based on powder of fluorocarbon, thermal decomposition of which during combustion of solid fuel charge is accompanied by extraction of additional to powder gases of gaseous fluorine and fluorine-containing gases.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced moisture permeability of charge, increased shot power and stability of ballistic characteristics of charges during storage.
