FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering, in particular to equipment used in production of mixed uranium-plutonium fuel, specifically to a viewing window device for radiation protection chambers, and is intended to protect personnel from mixed (gamma and neutron) radiation during remote operation. Inspection radiation-protective window consists of glass unit metal housing, lead-free flint glass consisting of block housing and glass plate, liquid unit equipped with sight glasses and filled with immersion-protective liquid. Sight radiation-protective window is installed in window opening of protective chamber wall.
EFFECT: invention increases manufacturability (reduces overall dimensions, weight and number of light-reflecting surfaces) and provides required light transmission in visible spectrum.
