FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling cohesion of wheels of a controlled axle of a railway rolling stock and its possible recovery. Speed signals (VM) are generated to indicate wheel angular speed of said axle. Error signal (E) is generated, indicating error or difference between the reference speed (VR) for wheels (W) determined by reference model (RM) in response to the predetermined speed value (VPREDETERMINED VALUE), and the speed, defined by said velocity signals (VM). Generating drive signal (Y) for torque control means (TCM) applied to wheels of said axis by means of adaptive filtration (AF) of input signal (X), which is a function of said preset rate (VSETPOINT), by varying adaptive filtering (AF) parameters as a function of said error signal (E), for example, for occurrence of said speed or difference (E) error, tending to zero.
