FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: control system for working and emergency braking for a railway vehicle contains braking control modules (201), each of which is equipped to control the corresponding axis, receive deceleration request signal (202) common to all modules, instantaneous deceleration signal (209) and maximum existing achieved coupling signal (204). Braking control module (201) is equipped to generate independently of other modules (201) braking torque request signal (205) depending on braking request signal (202) and weight signal (203) and supply this signal to braking means (207) connected to the axis controlled by braking control module (201), which converts the value of braking torque request signal (205) to the braking torque applied in accordance with the first torque gradient. If, upon reaching a certain value of the braking torque when applying the braking torque, the instantaneous deceleration value is lower than the target deceleration value, the applied braking torque is increased until the instantaneous deceleration value reaches the target deceleration value or until the maximum existing coupling is reached by the axis controlled by specified braking control module (201). The applied braking torque is increased in accordance with the second torque gradient.
EFFECT: increased reliability is achieved.
