FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used to reduce noise level in ship rooms, as well as in residential and industrial premises due to increased level of soundproofing of structures preventing noise penetration into rooms caused by vibration of enclosing structures. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that sound-insulating layers in multilayer sound-insulating structure are made of granulated material with minimum thickness of layers h, defined by formula
wherein maximum size of granules D in layers is determined by formula
where ρ is density of material of granules [kg/m3], and ƒ1[Hz] is the lower frequency of the frequency range of noise, which is a subject of protection of the multilayer structure.
EFFECT: technical result is high sound insulation of multilayer structure by eliminating (reducing) the flexural rigidity of soundproof layers, in the design of which there used are tightly adhering to each other granules (steel balls, lead shot, and so forth).
