FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic-plasma machining of metal parts and can be used for polishing blades of turbomachines from nickel and titanium alloys. Method includes immersion of part in electrolyte, formation around processed surface of part of vapour-gas shell and ignition of discharge between treated part and electrolyte by supply of electric potential to part. During machining around processed part there provided is constant magnetic field of uniform intensity in range of 50–500 kA/m along whole processed surface.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of treatment due to concentration of charged particles in treated surface area.
