FIELD: electrolyte-plasma processing of metal parts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolyte-plasma processing of metal parts and can be used for polishing turbomachinery blades made of titanium alloys. The method includes immersing a blade in an electrolyte, creating a magnetic field around the workpiece, forming a vapour-gas shell around the workpiece surface, and igniting a discharge between the workpiece and the electrolyte by applying an electric potential to the workpiece. In this case, the magnetic field is created by an extended magnet when its longitudinal axis is located along the longitudinal axis of the blade with the longitudinal size of the magnet exceeding the longitudinal size of the blade airfoil, and during the polishing process the blade is rotated relative to its longitudinal axis while ensuring a constant distance between the magnet and the blade in the range from 2 to 14 mm due to the reciprocating movement of the blade and magnet relative to each other in the direction intersecting the longitudinal axes of the magnet and the blade.
EFFECT: ensuring the uniform polishing of the surface of turbomachinery blades made of titanium alloys while simultaneously increasing the productivity of their processing.
