SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve industry and can be used in equipment of gas, oil, chemical, power, metallurgical and coal industries to shut off flow of transported medium. Main transverse groove made on ceramic material on the shutter locking part and located relative to the through hole contour has maximum passage area and throughput capacity with preservation of the overall dimensions of the shut-off unit, and together with additional longitudinal and transverse grooves, it is possible to smoothly change pressure drop on shut-off unit during flow clamping during the most intensive reduction of shut-off orifice passage.
EFFECT: reduction of control force of pipeline device, reduced aggressiveness of flow and increased wear resistance and durability of shutoff unit.
