SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building. Method for simulating vehicle engine sounds reproduced by an exhaust gas system is characterized by the fact that pre-recorded or synthesized sound templates are loaded onto a personal computer and/or a mobile application. Once the sound patterns are loaded and ready for use, they are pumped to an electronic unit located on the vehicle and connected to its CAN and ACC circuits. Through the at least one speaker included in the acoustic device connected to the electronic unit, the recorded sound patterns reproduced depending on the information on the CAN circuits are reproduced. Using the mobile application, after the sound patterns are transferred to the electronic unit, selecting a specific sound pattern and adjusting its audio parameters.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of generation and simulation of vehicle engine sounds.
