Method provides calculating the risk of gastroesophageal reflux disease, erosive oesophagitis and Barrett’s syndrome based on age, waist circumference, body weight index, point by the results of the Gerd-Q questionnaire and duration of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease.

EFFECT: method enables determining the phenotype of gastroesophageal reflux disease when referring to the patient's doctor based on the collection of complaints, anamnesis and physical examination.
