SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of determining quality of application of solid mineral fertilizers in agriculture. Method for determining the rate of application of solid granular mineral fertilizer in real time includes steps of extracting a flat rectangular soil surface of at least 1 m2 without fertilizer and obtaining its image; introducing a normalized amount of granules of mineral fertilizer and obtaining an image with a normalized amount of fertilizer; treating soil and adding mineral fertilizer; selecting flat rectangular soil surface of not less than 1 m2 and obtaining its image with fertilizer; images are sent for computer processing, performing their digitization and filtration with wave transformation to obtain a high-quality image of the object, having previously introduced into the MathCad program the area of the flat rectangular soil surface, the average diameter of the granule and its weight, performing size correction; determining total weight of granules on soil surface of not less than 1 m2; recalculating granule weight per 1 ha of seeded soil; is compared with the weight corresponding to the required norm of adding mineral fertilizers; applied dose of fertilizer is corrected if necessary.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of estimating in real time the rate of application of solid mineral fertilizers on soil and improving the accuracy of determining the amount of applied fertilizers.
