SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, neurology and pathological physiology and directly to differential diagnosis of cardiogenic myocardial ischemia and spinal-cardiac braking reflex. Against the background of pain syndrome typical for myocardial ischemia and upper back, two-sided paravertebral block is performed with an anesthetic solution in amount of 5.0–10.0 ml at each injection at VII cervical and I, II, III, IV and V thoracic spines. Before performing the block, oxymetry is performed on any of the fingers of the left hand. Then, 5–10 minutes after the block, the oxymetry is repeatedly performed on the same finger, the results of which are compared to those before the block, and with increasing oxymetry, diagnosing ischemia caused by spinal cardiac braking reflex, and if observing no positive dynamics, cardiogenic myocardial ischemia is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the time of differential diagnostics of cardiogenic myocardial ischemia and spinal-cardiac braking reflex with a background of pain syndrome typical of myocardial ischemia and in the upper thoracic spine.
