FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake shoe (1), system of sensors for determining location of brake shoe and method of determining location of brake shoe. When rail vehicle runs over brake shoe (1), it moves along rail (9). In order to reliably record the location of this moving brake shoe (1), it is proposed brake shoe (1) to provide sensor (5) to be detected to determine location of brake shoe and second sensor (11) to determine location of brake shoe of sensor system (8) to determine location of brake shoe by brake shoe element (4). Besides, invention also discloses sensor system (8) for determining location of brake shoe for continuous recording of brake shoes (1) and method of determining location of brake shoe using sensor (5) installed on rail (9) or pair (10) of rails for determining location of brake shoe.
EFFECT: as a result, automatic and continuous control of brake shoes position becomes possible.
