FIELD: measuring equipment; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: system comprises computer hardware and software complex consisting of a computer with special software, data transmission channel, complex control system sorting process, local measurement modules, each of modules is equipped with control unit and signal processing. To determine coordinates of cars, method employs scanning laser range finder modules with possibility of circular rotation and rotation speed adjustment. Laser scanning module comprises transceiver for measuring range, electric motor to turn laser transceiver with built-in encoder, laser transceiver is mechanically connected with motor shaft, and control unit of internal bus is connected with motor control unit of internal bus is connected with laser transceiver.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring coordinates of cars.
