SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of transmitting a control unit PDU of a status report at an RLC level. For this purpose, provision is made for: reception by the user device of configuration information transmitted by the network device, wherein the configuration information includes at least one format of the PDU control unit; selection by the subscriber device of the format of the PDU control unit from among at least one format of the PDU control unit to generate the PDU control unit of the status report, and transmission of the status reporting PDU control unit. One of the embodiments of the present invention also provides a concomitant device. Due to embodiments of present invention, control unit PDU of status report transmitted by subscriber device may have different formats, providing in some cases compliance with requirements of different scenarios.
