SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. Method comprises: receiving a first set of RLC protocol data units (PDU) from a transmitting side RLC entity, wherein a first set of RLC PDUs is generated by a transmitting side RLC entity according to a source data segment; transmitting an indication region state report carrying a sequence number (SN) of a plurality of RLC PDUs when it is detected that a plurality of RLC PDUs in the first set of RLC PDU blocks was not successfully received; receiving a second set of RLC PDUs from a transmitting side RLC entity; and obtaining an initial data segment according to a first set of RLC PDUs and a second set of RLC PDUs. Embodiments solve the problem of large non-productive consumption of resources when transmitting a status report by feedback to the transmitting side RLC entity, when the receiving side RLC object needs the RLC entity of the transmitting side repeatedly transmits the RLC PDUs in 5G NR system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of resources costs when reporting status feedback.
