FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedics and neurosurgery and can be used for laminoplasty at the level of cervical spine. Method involves a median incision along the posterior surface of the neck in projections of the vertebrae, a skeletonization of arches and articular processes of cervical vertebras. Then, using ultrasonic bone scalpel, performing bilateral sawing of lateral parts of vertebral arches at the point of their transition to a zygapophysial joint, vertebral arcs are fixed to the cortical plate of the joints and the diastasis is left no more than 1 cm. Plates are modeled taking into account the individual patient characteristics, which are preliminary treated with the osteoinductive material. Wound is closed.
EFFECT: method provides decompression of lateral parts of spinal canal, expansion of spinal canal, elimination of spinal cord and spinal roots compression causes, formation of a bone bridge in the course of plates for laminoplasty due to a technique of bilateral sawing of rear sections of the spinal canal by means of an ultrasonic bone scalpel.
