FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of wood and wood materials, namely to preparations for protection of wood and wood materials from biological destruction and ignition. It can be used in all branches of the national economy, for example, in woodworking and wood-processing industry, in construction. Preparation for protection of wood and materials on its basis from fire and bioinfestation includes a solvent - water, ester of boric acid H₃BO₃ and amino alcohol of general formula: (C_nH_2n+1)_kNH_3-(k+m)(C_nH_2nOH)_m, where n, m = 1–3, k = 0–2, as well as a mixture of an ammonium salt of a non-oxidising oxygen-containing mineral acid with a high degree of oxidation and carbamide (CO(NH₂)₂). Said components are contained in the preparation in the following ratio, wt. %: ester of boric acid and amino alcohol 7–60, ammonium salt of non-oxidising oxygen-containing mineral acid with high degree of oxidation from phosphoric (PO₄^3-), sulfuric (SO₄^2-) or coal (CO₃^2-) acids 5–20, carbamide 5–20, solvent up to 100.

EFFECT: invention improves fire-retardant efficiency when applying surface methods, as well as low cost of protective composition and processing.
