FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment, namely to a switching device, including a device for blowing electric arc based on permanent magnets. Switching device has a contact area, the arc-blowing device contains the first side pole plate, the second side pole plate, the central pole plate located between them, and at least the first permanent magnet for creation of the blowing magnetic field. At least a first permanent magnet is arranged and contacts at least one of the pole plates either directly, or through a magnetic conductor such that a first region of the blown magnetic field is formed between the first side pole plate and the central pole plate, such that a second area of the blown magnetic field is formed between the second side pole plate and the central pole plate. Power lines of magnetic field of first area of magnetic field pass opposite to power lines of magnetic field of second area of magnetic field, and the blowing field further comprises a transition region which connects the first magnetic field region and the second magnetic field region to each other. Power lines of magnetic field in transition area pass identically in each case, starting from the first magnetic field region and the second magnetic field area towards the contact area such that the electric contact arc occurring within the transition region when the contact area opens, is diverted either into the first magnetic field area or into the second magnetic field area depending on the current direction from the contact area and in both cases is blown in the same direction from the contact area. Technical result is achieved due to that arc-blowing device comprises at least second permanent magnet (15) as auxiliary magnet, wherein auxiliary magnet is located in close proximity to contact area (7.1) so that at least part of magnetic field (17) of auxiliary magnet (15) reinforces blowing field in transition area.
EFFECT: technical result is larger dimensions while providing stable movement of electric arc.
