MULTIPOLE POWER CONTACTOR Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H01H9/30

Abstract RU 2646620 C1

FIELD: engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a multipole power contactor comprising an electromagnetic drive with a movable armature and having at least two movable contacts disposed adjacent to each other and connected to the armature. Fixed contacts are connected to the corresponding movable contacts. Armature is designed to move from an open position to a closed position. Each contact unit, consisting of a movable contact and a fixed contact, has an arc quenching device. Between the two adjacent movable contacts a plasma barrier is placed, consisting of the first and second barriers, one of which is connected to the armature, and the second is connected to the fixed part of the power contactor. First barrier and the second barrier at least partly overlap each other in each intermediate position of the armature between the open and closed positions. Armature is connected to the driving axle, at least partially enclosed in a fixed insulating bushing.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in breaking capacity.
