FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used for monitoring of technical condition of hydraulic structure falling into the zone of influence of new construction, which is accompanied by filtration changes of hydraulic mode. In the zone between operated (1) and under construction (2) structures the observation well is formed from wells (8) equipped with ground level sensors. Computer geofiltration model of the general soil base (3) of structures (1) and (2) is created. Computer geomechanical model "base – operated structure" is created; maximum permissible lower or upper levels of ground waters are calculated using said models for each sensor in wells (8). Readings of said sensors are monitored and the danger of irreversible deformations of structure (1) is signaled if the readings of at least one of the sensors in wells (8) reach the maximum permissible level.
EFFECT: timely prediction of the risk of irreversible deformations of structures located in the zone of influence of new construction, and as a result, the possibility of preventing such deformations by designing and implementing protective engineering measures.
