SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to production of pontoons for construction of floating structures out of secondary plastics, which will make it possible to use considerable volume of industrial and domestic wastes without high labour input for their processing. Disclosed is a method of making pontoons for construction of floating residential and industrial structures, comprising the fact that a watertight structure is constructed with subsequent descent to water, wherein the pontoon is assembled from separate blocks, which are pressed at high temperature from secondary plastic, obtained from domestic and industrial wastes. During construction of pontoon blocks are fixed due to mutual surface melting of material on connected surfaces. Secondary plastics are not sorted according to grades and complete cleaning, and strength and water impermeability of target structure is achieved due to increased massiveness of blocks.

EFFECT: thus, simple and technological method of making pontoons for construction of floating residential and industrial structures with reduction of labour costs for their manufacture.
