FIELD: shipbuilding; building of floating structures; drilling rigs in particular. SUBSTANCE: semisubmersible platform consists of above-water deck and underwater portion with pillars located between them. Underwater portion consists of dismantled submarines. Pillars are provided with trunks connecting the above-water deck with submarines. Platform includes also additional members - grates for connecting the submarines. EFFECT: reduced usage of material; low labor consumption; improved sea-going properties of platform. 3 dwg
