FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices and methods for determining blood group antigens. Disclosed is an apparatus for determining cell bound analyte in whole blood sample, erythrocyte concentrate, coagulated blood or control blood by haemagglutination, including a separating matrix made in the form of membrane (2) of a testing device with a lateral flow or in the form of a gel matrix and having at least one indicator zone. Indicator area includes a first antibody directed against the cell bound analyte, or a fragment thereof, and a binding element directed against the first antibody, where the first antibody is a partial antibody, wherein the first antibody is an IgG type antibody, and the device is configured to pass the sample through the indicator zone to form a complex with the above analyte in the indicator zone, wherein the cell bound analyte is an antigen of the blood group, and cells are erythrocytes. Also disclosed are a device in the version of the membrane with a lateral flow, methods for making said devices, a method for determining the first and second cell bound analyte, as well as use of said devices for determining antigens or epitopes of antigens.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides determining blood group antigens to obtain a haemagglutination reaction endpoint for all blood group types, for which there are no available complete antibodies on the market, using partial antibodies.
