SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an in vitro diagnostic device for detecting and/or identifying an antigen and/or antibody from a biological fluid sample, in particular, from a blood sample or a sample of blood components and use thereof. An in vitro diagnostic device for detecting and/or identifying an antigen and/or antibody from a biological fluid sample, preferably from a blood sample or a blood component sample comprises a substrate and a hydrophobic porous membrane, disposed on said substrate, comprising at least one hydrophilic reaction region for receiving said sample, wherein the surface of said hydrophilic reaction region, which is smaller than the surface of the hydrophobic porous membrane, comprises beads, on the surface of which at least one antibody or antigen is fixed or adsorbed, wherein said beads feature size exceeding that of porous membrane to avoid absorption of at least one fixed or adsorbed antibody or antigen by hydrophobic porous membrane.
EFFECT: high sensitivity and specificity of the device.
