FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an in vitro diagnosis device and the use of said device to identify and determine blood groups. Disclosed is in vitro diagnosis device (10) for detecting at least one reaction between an erythrocytic phenotype antigen and an antibody, comprising substrate (12) and hydrophobic porous membrane (14) with a thickness of 0.05 to 1.5 mm with a pore diameter of 2 to 30 microns, wherein said membrane comprises at least one hydrophilic reaction zone (16), designed to obtain said sample, and the surface of hydrophilic reaction zone (16) is smaller than the surface of hydrophobic porous membrane (14). Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing said device, a method of phenotyping erythrocyte blood groups, a method of detecting cold agglutinin, autoantibodies, multivalent and anti-erythrocyte antibodies, as well as a method of conducting a cross-test for compatibility of a plasma sample using said device.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a reliable, mobile and cost-effective device that is simple to manufacture and use, is miniature, automated and enables to conduct analysis with high sensitivity.
