FIELD: vehicle equipment.

SUBSTANCE: car video recorder system is disclosed. System comprises camera unit (100) for recording information on image or information about panorama image around vehicle, image processing unit (200) for receiving image information or image information from camera unit (100) and converting said information into a digital signal to generate digital information about the image or digital information about the image, continuous image storage unit (300) for receiving digital information on an image or digital information on a snapshot from an image processing unit (200) for continuously storing information in real time. System also comprises impact sensor unit (400) for detecting impacts applied from the outside to generate information on impact, motion sensor unit (500) for detecting movement of user and generating movement information, control unit (600) for receiving and processing information on impact or movement information from impact sensor unit (400) or motion sensor unit (500). System also comprises an image storage unit (700) for receiving and storing digital information on the image and digital information on the image stored in the continuous image storage unit (300) in accordance with the information on the impact and movement information, display unit (800) for displaying image information and image information received by camera unit (100), audio unit (900) for generating sound information for image information obtained by camera unit (100), and input unit (1000) for inputting control command to control unit (600). Disclosed also is a method of controlling storage of an image in a car video recorder system by motion recognition.

EFFECT: creation of a system of a car video recorder capable of controlling preservation of an image due to simple movement of a user without direct input of a command.
