FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for managing engineering data on a production facility. System may include unit 1 of technical specification formation, unit 2 for interaction with contractors, unit 4 for verification of data received from contractor 3, and unit 5 for control of engineering data. Data verification unit 4 may be configured to verify and checking engineering data and/or engineering models received from contractor 3 for completeness, integrity, absence of collisions, compliance with given technical specification data format and predetermined criteria. With positive check and verification, verification unit 4 may be configured to transmit data to engineering data control unit 5, and if negative result is to return engineering data and/or engineering models back to contractor 3 for correction. Engineering data control unit 5 may include storage module 51, data updating/updating module 52 and processing and output module 53.
EFFECT: high efficiency of managing engineering data and high degree of their compliance with the state of real objects.
