FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical industry and can be used in devices for detachable connection of power circuits, in particular for installation of accumulator battery in aircraft compartment. In the socket (external) contact of the electric connector, having the shape of a cylindrical collet with an inner conical surface, the chipped portion of the collet at the beginning of the socket contact is squeezed to contact, which makes it possible to increase the surface area of abutment with a pin split conical contact and to reduce the force required for the connector joint, as well as to reduce contact surfaces wear. To increase pressure force in place of contact spring ring of several turns of wire is installed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of contact surface at pin and socket contacts and reduction of force required for connector joint, which leads to reduced wear of contact surfaces and higher reliability of electrical connector during operation.
