FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in devices for detachable connection of electric circuits, in particular for installation of accumulator battery in aircraft compartment. Electric connector comprises two housings, male contact and female contact with spring-loaded element, spring-loaded element is part of female contact, having the form of cylindrical spring and contact cylindrical surface with inner diameter smaller than diameter of male contact, which allows to have increased contact surface with male contact. Increase in the pressure force at the point of contact is ensured by fitting the spring part of the female contact. Presence of contact conical surface in spring part promotes reduction of force required for connector joint, as well as reduced wear of contact surfaces, which contributes to reduction of transient electrical resistance of connection and increases its reliability during operation.

EFFECT: technical result achieved in the proposed electric connector consists in improvement of: 1) reliability of electric connector operation due to increase of contact surface at connection of male and female contacts; 2) contact pressure forces.
