FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of creating, storing, editing and updating metadata describing cable-conductor products. Following set of metadata is created: product groups, facets, facet values, permissible combinations of facet values, structure of conditional designation of cable-conductor products, structure of classifier code, structures of groups of external classifiers. Structuring is carried out by performing the following algorithms: an algorithm for generating codes and symbols based on metadata, algorithms for verifying metadata, an algorithm for associating product positions with groups of third-party classifiers.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of classifier accuracy.
