POLYPEPTIDE COMPOSITION HAVING PROPERTY OF NORMALIZING CEREBRAL FUNCTIONS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61K35/30 A61K38/02 A61P25/28

Abstract RU 2727154 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biology and medicine and concerns a novel composition of polypeptides recovered from bovine cerebrum cortex extract, a pharmaceutical composition based on said polypeptides and use thereof. Polypeptide composition has nootropic, neuroprotective, antioxidant, tissue-specific action and is characterized by the following values: molecular weight of polypeptides is approximately 8300–8500 Da; amount of bound amino acids is: arginine - 19 to 52 mcg/mg, glycine - 22 to 32 mcg/mg, asparagine - 107 to 138 mcg/mg, glutamine - 117 to 206 mcg/mg, alanine - 29 to 50 mcg/mg, proline - 52 to 70 mcg/mg, lysine - 50 to 83 mcg/mg, leucine - 34 to 56 mcg/mg of the dry residue of the composition. Pharmaceutical composition for normalizing cerebral function comprises said polypeptide composition and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Also disclosed is the use of the above compositions for relieving convulsive syndrome, recovering disturbed cerebral reflex activity, memory, coordination of motions, stroke, cerebral effusions or as neuroprotector.

EFFECT: composition of polypeptides has the properties of normalizing cerebral function, and has less side effects compared to the prototype when used.
