SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an inhaler which comprises a durable unit and a replaceable (cassette) unit and which comprises systems, subsystems and elements to provide user interaction in the form of "opening-inhalation-closing". Durable unit comprises a trigger actuated by a breathing force and, if necessary, electronics to provide user feedback and means with the possibility of telemedicine. Replaceable unit comprises a mouthpiece, a blister tape, an aerosol duct, a dose counter and a unit with blister piercing and aerosol formation mechanisms. Locking mechanism may be provided to prevent further use of the cartridge, when the dose counter reaches a predetermined limit, such as zero.

EFFECT: multidose inhaler is proposed.
